When completing a ranking item on smartphone, there is only a very thin strip of the UI where you can scroll down. It is clunky and difficult and some respondents find it impossible/frustrating to the point that they just give up. Many people complete surveys on their phones, so a small quality-of-life change to stop respondent dropoff would be very appreciated.
