I've had many survey respondents get stuck on long matrix-type questions because they can't figure out how to scroll, or scroll once or twice and can't see that there are more items below (no scroll bar). While it might be tempting to be negative about people that struggle with digital interfaces, sometimes we want to be able to survey these people! And everyone is used to scroll bars on every webpage. There are scroll bars on this webpage.
