Wish you could ask appropriate questions to your respondents based on their previous answers? Let’s introduce you to Display Logic!

Using Display Logic, you can ask relevant questions to your respondents by tracking their answers to previous questions. It can be used to filter questions based on conditions set by you.

For example, let’s say you’re conducting an NPS survey. You can use Display Logic to filter your questions based on your respondents’ ratings. So accordingly, you can ask for feedback to those respondents who scored below 6, customer testimonials for those who scored above 8 and those who scored neutral can proceed to the next question.

Let’s see how we can enable Display Logic:

  1. Select the question where you want to enable Display Logic. Click on the Logic icon that appears below your question.

       2. Select Display Logic and add the desired conditions that you want to apply to the question. You can also add/remove conditions using the plus/minus icons.

      3. Preview your survey to make sure that your questions appear in the desired manner. Then proceed to Design.

Let’s say you’re selling laptop sleeves online, and you want to search for potential customers through conducting a survey. Naturally, you’ll only want to interact with respondents who own laptops.

So while creating your survey, you can use Display Logic to filter your questions, such that those who own laptops are redirected to your store website, while the others are directed to a Thank You page.

So this is the condition that is applied for respondents who own laptops:

And this is applied for those who don’t own laptops:

You can now preview and proceed to Design.
